I’m a journalist, editor and photographer who loves finding the stories hiding in everyday places.

I currently serve as the editor of The Corydon Democrat and its Clarion edition, where I cover the people, places and events that make Harrison and Crawford counties unique in Indiana. From local government meetings and high school sports to community events and feature stories, my job gives me the opportunity to meet people, ask questions, tell their stories and capture moments through photography. I also edit stories, help shape each newspaper and manage digital content and online platforms.

I graduated from Western Kentucky University in May of 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in visual journalism photography, with a concentration in photography and a minor in professional writing.

While at WKU, I worked in various roles with Talisman, an award-winning collegiate lifestyle and culture website and magazine. My work there allowed me to explore storytelling beyond traditional news and strengthen my skills in writing, photography, interviewing and digital storytelling.

I also completed a writing internship with The Borgen Project, a nonprofit organization focused on reducing global poverty.

Throughout my education and career, I’ve developed experience in copy editing, reporting, news writing, feature writing, interviewing, portrait photography, feature photography and visual storytelling.

Whether I’m behind a camera, asking questions or sitting down to edit a story, I’m always looking for ways to tell a story accurately, thoughtfully and in a way that connects with readers.
